Xmas, New Mouse, Cool Tech

Well, merry Xmas everyone! I'm back home from the little trip I took to see my relatives in Connecticut. I have to say that the people from Connecticut are a little different........ No offense to anyone from that state, its just something I picked up on. I couldn't place it. The people were just different. It was a little boring, but overall I had a fun time having dinner with my family and taking about our lives. I got some cool stuff for Xmas, but ill talk about that in a bit.

Iv recently been exploring some different kinds of music. I get most of my music from a site called Deezer, and its legal (Not sure how, seeing how they host the music instead of link to it)! Some of my favorite artists are: Klaxons, The Mars Volta, NIN, and Mr. Bungle. The Mars Volta came out with a new CD, but I cant seem to find it on Deezer.

While I was reading my daily tech blogs I found some cool software. The first was a program that turns your pictures into text files! I dont see a real use for it other that aesthetic purposes. It is cool to see your face in letters! ~~~~Screener~~~~~

The second is a piece of software that actually has a use, organizing photos. If your anything like me, you probably have one photo thats somewhere on your computer but you just cant find it. You can remember the color, but nothing else. Well this photo organizer will align your pictures by color! I used it for about 20 minutes and it was loads of fun!~~~~Screener~~~~

On to the Xmas presents! I usually get a bunch of gift cards from that blue and gold big box retailer (Best Buy), and this year was no exception. As soon as I got home and turned on my computer, my mouse started to tweak out. I thought to myself "How many times does this make?" I was fed up so I got a new one! Its a kick butt gaming mouse with a teflon base. ~~~~Screener~~~~~

Have a great New Year everyone!

Writing is for Cool People, Facebook is for Losers

For now, at least, I'm not using Facebook. I have read tons of articles about how it tracks you even if your not using Facebook. I think I'm smart enough to write instead of just doing stupid things to profiles of the people you aren't really friends with.

I'm very glad its the weekend, I needed a break from school. My brother, Dan, is home for Christmas, and he brought his Wii, and his friend Chris brought the game Rock Band for the Xbox 360. When I woke up I played Team Fortress 2 for a while until Dan woke up. At that time I learned that we had Rock Band in our basement. I have to say, im seriously considering getting this after Christmas. The only thing I don't like is its $200 price tag ( Those of you who know me know I'm cheap) The instrument I like the best is the drums, and better yet they teach you to lay the real drums! (Kinda, I read a review that said if you can play it on expert, you can play drums, and let me say that expert is not easy....Hehehe)

Now that I'm back writing, I decided to change the layout of the site. I was pondering what made all these Web 2.0 sites look so good, and then I got it, they all have a base of soft colors, like white or blue. So the site will be changed from a black color scheme to a white one. I also added some music to the sidebar on the right.

As for content Ill post some of my favorite How-To videos and links. Just because I know you don't want to hear about my life all the time!
