How To Read A Person + New Movie: Cloverfield

While I was crawling the "Series of Tubes" (Courtesy of Sen. Ted Stevens) I found a really cool article on Lifehacker about profiling people. I thought it was interesting so I followed the link to this site. It turns out its allot more than just profiling, it includes the hierarchy of actions and desire.
It goes from: Physical, Security, Sociality, Esteem, and finally Ethics (Ethics being the last thing we think about). It also talks about how people act and why they act this way.

Eg: "David is a guy, who enjoys being heavily sarcastic to the point that makes people feel bad. He enjoys destabilising people using stupid arguments. He does that because by making them feel less powerful, he tricks his Ego to think that he is on his way to achieve some form of social power and thus security. He compares himself with his ‘victims’ and says: “Hey, I am more powerful than him”. He has adopted that strategy through the years without knowing why: He just does it." (From Happy Brain Storming)

I thought about it, and these are my traits (Note: this took me a long time, so please read)

Chunking size: Whole picture
Relationship sort: Sameness
Sensing VS Intuition: Intuition
Black n’ White VS Continuum: Continuum
Optimist VS Pessimist: Cant decide

Associated VS Disassociated: Middle
Emotional Directional Sort: Feelings stay contained in where they came from
Emotional Intensity: In the middle, mostly calm

Adapting: I adapt well
Primary Interest: Information
Judging VS Perceiving: Perceiving
How do you strive to achieve a goal: Process
Emotional style: assertive
Responsibility: middle
Battery Rejuvenation: Very Introvert
Comparison sort: Qualitative
Knowledge sort: Theory
Completion: Non Closer
Temper to Instruction: Middle
Self Esteem: High middle
The way you feel time: Future %75 and present %25
Morality: Moderately strong

There, you (according to the article) know almost everything about my personality!

Almost forgot! I saw the move Cloverfield today.(I had to use this picture due to lack of a real one from the movie)

I have to say that the monster does not look like this. It has a smaller tail and more human-esque limbs. I would like to add that it had very Sin-Spawn (FF10) like things that drop from it and make you explode. Onto the review! Over all the movie was crappy, yes I said it, I am aware of the measures that paramount went to market this movies, but it wasnt worth it. Dont believe the hype! The effects were amazing, but thats about it. The plot could make you say "Whad you think of the plot?" "Wait what plot?". The story progression made sense, but the plot had no meaning. I would also like to add that no movie will ever be good by using the "Blair Witch" effect.

Was it long enough?

New Chair, New Wallet, New Music

So, I have finals this week and I get out of school at 12:50. Im going to lunch with my friends in town. This week, its all new. First off, I made a new wallet because my other one was falling apart and was of inferior quality.

^Thats my new one! I didnt intend for the orange to look like a person.

I also got something else! A new chair! For the same reason as my wallet, inferior quality.

^Sweet, right?(It may look like my room is messy.......and your right to assume that!)

So, onto the new music!

Two of these artists I found through TheSixtyOne
One called Saul Williams
Other called Jonathan Coulton
And then Lupe Fiasco I found through Contapper

And oh yeah, my new chair broke while I was writing this! Im going to take it back :(

Movies

This is the last week until the break was over. I'm sad! :( Oh well, I suppose I have to! I saw three movies this week. The first was AVPR and the second and third were I Am Legend and Blade Runner. I saw AVPR on Thursday.

It was horrible. The opening scene was a boy and his father hunting. The Aliens and a Predator land where they are hunting. The dad gets eaten by an Alien spawn. About five seconds after I said "This is going to be bad if that kid gets eaten" Of course the kid gets eaten. "Oh man that was sick" And that's pretty much how the rest of the movie went, a bunch of "Wow that's horrible if that person gets eaten" and "I cant believe he got eaten". AVPR was an unholy Satan spawn of two great movies.

The second movie I saw was on Saturday. It was awesome to say the least. The funny thing is that it left me feeling empty. Its strange, it was a great movie and I would see it again, but something wasn't there. Plot possibly? Or maybe too little time had passed between movie events? I remember one scene where the zombie-vampire-mutant-things set a trap for him, and they even had a leader. I thought they would go somewhere with it, like evolution, but they never did. I would see it again though! Great action, suspense, and a bit scary. Great fun!

The last movie I saw was on Sunday as well. I saw it in a theater called The Music Box that only shows old movies. I was told that Blade Runner was a good movie, but I felt misinformed. The movie seemed to fly by. None of the scenes seemed to stay in my mind. Maybe Iv been spoiled by all these new fangled special effects, I didn't like it. Oh well. Jumper seems cool. :)

It seems like all my stuff is breaking! First my mouse, now my keyboard. My keyboard is slow to respond, and sometimes the keys stick without the buttons being pushed down. It angers me! I'm reluctant to get a new one though. I'm worried that it wont feel right, but I know I'll get used to it.

G'Night peeps on the series of tubes!
